I’ve lived at Miller Square for a year now. I was originally drawn to this complex because of its fantastic location, affordable prices, and easy approval process. Unfortunately, things started to go downhill almost immediately. The old management team rarely addressed maintenance issues with any solution that lasted more than a day. They moved the leasing office around about once a month, never answered the phone, and didn’t take requests or complaints seriously. However, the new management team has been on the job for less than three months and is already making substantial improvements every day. Things the old team claimed “can’t be fixed” are actually fixed — and not just with bubble gum and scotch tape! Harbor Group has gone above and beyond to ensure tenants are happy and that the property is not only safer but also more comfortable, cleaner, and better overall. I'm looking forward to the years to come!

Wi-Fi still hasn’t been fixed, that I desperately need for my job. Still no 2nd house key, dishwasher hasn’t been mounted. No mailbox key, annd came home tday to see that the whole top of mailbox looks like someone broke into everyone’s mailbox has been broken into. And there’s a bit of a roach problem. Toilet handle hasn’t been fixed. Drawer by the stove hasn’t been fixed. The ladder n paint buckets haven’t been removed.

I've lived here, somehow, for over seven years. Management was very briefly competent, but unfortunately that was only for a few months a few years ago now. Since I moved in back in April 2018 there have been 7 or 8 different management companies - once we even had four within the span of one year. There are rats in the walls and the trash rarely gets picked up - pretty sure it's been 3 weeks now that the dumpster and recycling have been full. No one ever responds to my maintenance requests about the rats, they just close them - never mind that it's a city code violation and, you know, a public health hazard to leave rats scurrying around in the walls. The pool has been closed by the city health department for months and there's no sign that anything is being done to remedy this, despite it being an amenity we pay for monthly - much like the trash pickup that also fails to happen. Half the mail boxes are broken open and have been for a few years now. One of the laundry machines doesn't work and looks like someone took a baseball bat to it...it's been that way for several years, surprise surprise. What they HAVE done is waste money planting flowers in the courtyards and around the pool - flowers that died within a week or two and that they have failed to even water... Oh, and now their phone doesn't even patch you through - it's a never ending loop where you push a button to be connected and find yourself back at the main menu - an apt representation of the management, really (i.e. completely useless and infuriating). Guess I'll have to contact Austin Tenants Council or a lawyer to get anything done in this slum. All that being said, don't bother renting here, it's a literal rats nest.

I'm not talking about everyone, my respects for those who don't but in these apartments they live disgusting people apart when you're going to rent in these apartments they don't tell you that they are infected with bed bugs rats and cockroaches it's something irresponsible to have to put away all your housing items because they are infected with animals apart my wife is pregnant and she's all hurt from bed bugs I need a solution because this is very serious and one can't be paying to live I've put enough reports and they don't answer but at the time of collecting the rent I don't leave the day I leave you my bad review so that you start focusing more on people's health and the hygiene of the apartments but of course money is the first and I also talked to a neighbor and he told me that they are also infected by rats and cockroaches 🤦🏻♂️🙄

The city of Austin has been battling the homeless population. There are some tough reviews in here, but I’m happy to report as a newer resident here - they have upgraded, remodeled and the space is great. I’m including photos that I took right before I moved in. Please don’t let the previous photos reflect the property now because the new company has cleaned it up.
