I lived at this complex for almost three years, and I cannot recommend living here under the current management company and the fact that the parking garage is shared with Metropolis Parking. There is no way to leave and enter the gated parking area for residents without entering the paid parking controlled by Metropolis, and Metropolis has continually sent me frivolous notices with photos timestamping the time my car leaves the gated area (not parked) and returning to the gated area (again not parked). After emailing Metropolis Support, a customer service representative said that they need my phone number "to investigate". Regarding the current management of the complex, two months before my lease was up, Jessica tried to tell me that I would be charged for not giving proper 30 day's notice because she had misread the end of my lease as March rather than May. She never even apologized; she just said "you're good." This was also after she had ignored my noise complaint (in the same email response) about a neighbor continually playing loud music as late as 2am. When I first moved here with a better management company, this was the only apartment complex in this area, but now there are so many other options, I would not recommend St. Elmo Living under the current management company and while the parking garage is occupied by Metropolis Parking.

I just moved in to St. Elmo Living a couple of weeks ago, and have had a fantastic experience so far! I toured 9 other properties in the area before deciding on this one - it felt like the best fit by far. The design, amenities, location, and floor plan options were all exactly what I was looking for. And listen, no apartment community is perfect, especially if you're in an urban/gentrifying area. But the team here has been super responsive and quick to address the few small issues I've had so far. Maintenance has come by within 24 hours of my requests, and they've been thorough and effective with all of their responses. I also want to give a special shoutout to Blake in the leasing office. He was super helpful and responsive during my whole leasing process - and I ask a LOT of questions! He was always kind and patient, and made the whole experience go as smoothly as possible. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my decision to move in here!
