Been here for a few months and no complaints so far. Loving this place. Hiccups here and there but overall a great cost efficient place. Neighbors are all chill and whenever something does come up management is good about attending to issues. Definitely renewing when the time comes.

As you can see a mix of reviews which as someone who has lived here for going on 4 years, I believe it is based off whether each reviewers expectations are grounded in reality or not. This is a very affordable apartment with an excellent location close to an affordable gym, HEB, the bus stops being super close, brewery nearby etc. Also this is a fairly old apartment which will naturally have some issues. I have lived in two different apartments here and each was very different-so I do think if you can view your apartment ahead of time that may be helpful. We initially had an issue with roaches but once we became more vigilant about cleaning and requested pest control it was a non issue. The water turn offs people Mention do happen but briefly and in order to do repairs. It is never negatively impactful as it they let you know in advance and you can simply shower earlier or later for those days which are every couple months. The biggest reason for 5 stars is the staff-Maddie, Gina and David are genuinely thoughtful and caring people and take all matters seriously and with care. So overall you have an affordable apartment and staff who care and work together to keep this older apartment running. For the cost, it is s very good deal.

Do not believe any of the good reviews here. Most of them work/worked for the apartment and get reduced rent. Truth is: the apartment is a complete slum. The amenities are practically nonexistent, and if they do exist, they are filthy and unmaintained. The appliances are liable to break at any moment and are, again, filthy. If you are rent here, be prepared to deep clean, as there is black mold and roaches . Management is horrible and will threaten your reputation among landlords if you mention cancelling your lease. Rent WILL increase by 200-400 every year, and management refuses to negotiate regardless of if you’ve paid rent on time. Overall, the only redeeming quality is the location; however, good luck being able to afford tuition or going out when 95% of every check goes to rent.

I've been here 8 months. Considering that the place was built around 1968 it's in good condition and being improved on. The rooms are well built and there's a range of apartments to choose from to fit your budget. Multiple washers and dryers in the laundry room so the need to go to a laundromat has been non-existent for me. A pool and grill area at both A and B sides are kept clean every time I have seen it. Even at apartments closer to where the dumpsters are I rarely encountered any pests. If there's any complex wide issues or water shut offs they let you know with ample time too so you're not caught off guard. Plenty of parking spots as well. Also; Shout out to Heather the apartment manager who is very attentive to any issues that come up and is making the complex more comfortable for all! Bonus points for walking distance to HEB, bus stop right out front, and safe walkable neighborhood close by.

Could not have had a worse experience in the 2 years I lived here. My apartment flooded every time it rained, for an entire year. We went a month without power. Cars were broken into regularly. The pools were closed by the city because they were infected and badly maintained. A tree fell and almost crashed into my apartment. Laundry machines rarely worked and often ruined clothes and smelled terrible. Poor ventilation inside the apartments. Not enough parking. Roaches everywhere!!! Maintenance and management were both awful and advised me to do things which would violate my lease. All in all a class act ✌️
