The Lola

If security, privacy and safety are a concern of yours, this aprtment is not a great option for you! Unfortunately this apartment openly shares its property and amenities with a large office building and several retail shops. This means there are always people coming in off the streets and walking around the apartment complex and using the amenities we pay an arm and a leg for (and management does nothing to prevent this) . The workers and staff from the office/shops regularly use our pool, gym and 'community' room. Security doors are constantly propped open or have their locks bypassed so unauthorized people can get into our amenities at all times! IT'S ridiculous at the price they charge to live here that we do not have more secure facilities and a staff that cares about keeping things more secure! Dogs! dog owners regularly let their pets run around unleashed including in the pool. I've seen dogs taking $hits in the pool area... management does nothing to mitigate it. Tresspassing: Our pool ALWAYS has people who don't belong there trespassing in it. There is a useless "security" gate that is only 3 feet tall that everyone seems to know is easily bypassed, On the weekends teenagers that live nearby trespass, to use the facility, and we have even had homeless folks use the pool to wash their clothesl!!!! When management was made aware of the security issues they just shurg and say "theres not much they can do" (which is just lazy because the fix is easy and minimal) ...so their concern for security is absolutely nonexistent, in fact, a lot of the times they are the ones proping open the security gates themselves ! So just be warned, if you move here management could not care less about the security of the property.

Zach is amazing! Grounds are clean/well kept, and there is always help available to move appliances!

Do you like a peaceful quite place to live? Than this is not the place for you because you will be awoken every morning at 7am by their team of landscapers with leaf blowers making all kinds of noise. Property management COULD do something to stop this! But they CHOOSE not to! Why would the mangers not address this you ask? Clearly because they don’t give a damn about their tenants peaceful enjoyment of their home … even though you pay a premium to live here. Nope to them their landscaping company has more rights to make noise then you have to not be disturbed at unreasonable hours.

The thing I love about Austin is how incredibly welcoming and nice the folks are! I had the pleasure of checking out The Lola for my new home and Lexi was so helpful and answered all of my questions. I’ve definitely had my share of apartment tours but this was such a refreshing experiencing. She gave me the down low of the area and also some great recommendations. It’s the little things that go a long way and I don’t review unless something stands out. Thanks Lexi for being one of the few good ones!

This location is amazing. The office staff is so accommodating. Lexi is the best! I highly recommend this property!
