I would NOT recommend this place due to building code violations and the landlord’s failure to provide safe and habitable conditions. Our unit consistently had issues with roaches crawling out of the floor boards and infrastructure instability. Our widows did not close all the way and the locks were broken. We also had nails that would pop up from the carpet. The heating system had some electrical issues and caused a nauseating burning smell while turned on. In general, the units are badly insulated so any smells from your neighbors (cooking, smoking, ect.) will carry over into your space. The maintenance team was dismissive about concerns and unprofessional. The roaches were poorly managed despite pest control. We finally broke our lease due to MOLD issues in the vents. I started having severe allergies shortly after moving in and my ENT specialist recommended that I check for mold in my apartment. That led to me discovering that the inside of our vents were covered in black mold. When I reported this issue to the maintenance team, I was told that it was just dust. When I insisted, they told me that they didn’t do mold remediations and the only thing they could do was spray bleach in the vents. I ended up purchasing a mold testing kit which came back positive. When I asked the office to remediate the mold, the lady told me they couldn’t hire a professional cleaner and said it was “normal” for apartments to have mold. When I expressed concern about my respiratory symptoms from mold exposure, she proceeded to inappropriately tell me that it was also normal and that she had bronchitis?? I have lived in many apartment complexes and still NOTHING tops this experience. The only good thing I can say is that the process to break our lease was quick and straightforward.

I lived there for a year an half and thoroughly enjoyed it. The management and maintenance staff are the best, very attentive and caring. The apartments are well maintained, spacious, quiet and in a convenient location to schools, eating and shopping. They have washer/dryer connections and two pools. If you are looking for great accommodations at a good price, Madison Pointe cannot be beat

Overall, good apartments, haven't had many issues. Quiet, neighbors are pleasant and the leasing office staff are kind and helpful. Only two things I had a problem with are the drawers/cabinets in the kitchen (cheap material) and the cheap carpet. Other than that, no major problems and no pest control issues whatsoever.

These apartments are not worth the price. Absolutely do not bring pets here. Just look at the apartments in person and think if you’d be willing to pay 1,000 for the ugly carpets they have in there just from minor scratches in the corners of a single room. Someone else left a review about carpets too, so just go ahead and read their review. Their communication is also kind of sketchy. I requested an email stating how much was remaining after I paid 350 after driving 2 hours to get there in person this weekend. They sent an email saying 381.87, which is a very precise amount. Later today, they emailed me saying that amount was a mistake and I owe more than that. I also inquired about why none of my pet deposit covered it, and they said 300 of the 500 dollars is non-refundable. Fair, but that doesn’t account for the $200 that is refundable. If I didn’t have a place to fall back on, Madison Pointe Apartments would have made me homeless if I needed to rent another apartment immediately at the end of my lease due to the exorbitant fees, so tread very carefully when renting with them.

My wife and I lived here for 5 years while she completed grad school at A&M. Madison Pointe is a great apartment complex that is maintained well and managed even better. Lisa and Shelley (and everyone in the leasing office) do an amazing job at making sure any issues are addressed quickly and that the complex stays safe and clean. As an older complex, things are going to break, but maintenance is very quick and efficient, and the complex updated several things while we lived there, like porches and the parking lot. The price is very fair when compared to the city average, and the internet being included was great. Utilities are also not bad. Madison Pointe is not the cheapest in town, but the overall value is unmatched when you consider what you get if you look for cheaper. The complex community mainly consists of young families, grad students, and single adults, so you don't get the partying and disruptive neighbors that you will get closer to the university or in neighboring complexes. Crime at Madison Pointe is very low, which is reflective of efforts to keep the buildings clean and orderly. Other complexes nearby have issues, but those issues hardly ever spill over. As all apartments have some issues with crime or loud people, we were pleasantly surprised how few we had over our 5 years. Madison Pointe is in a good location for necessities as well, as you have multiple restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores nearby. There are several small parks nearby as well, and Bee Creek/Lemontree Park down the street. We enjoyed our time at Madison Pointe and would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a peaceful, stress free place to live in an otherwise busy town.
