Hi, I wanted to follow up regarding the towing situation. I was originally told that I couldn’t purchase an additional key fob and that my friend would need to be added to the lease to receive one. Based on that, I began the process and had been actively trying to resolve everything for several days before the weekend, since we have opposite schedules and I knew coordinating would be difficult. During that time, I was also relying on the call box, which has not been working. I had reached out for assistance on how to operate it, but the issue was never resolved. Additionally, I was never notified that the new lease was available to be signed through email nor application notifications , so there wasn’t a clear way for me to know that step had been completed or that anything further was required. At the same time, my friend had already been receiving resident emails, which made it seem like she was already in the system. Therefore she no longer registered her car as a visitor. At the time her vehicle was towed, I was working a 3pm–3am shift and didn’t have access to my phone to register the vehicle. By the time I was able to check, it had already been towed. Given that I followed the guidance provided, made repeated efforts in advance, and encountered multiple issues with communication and property systems, this situation feels like a breakdown in process rather than intentional noncompliance. It has also left me without transportation and impacted my ability to work. I do feel targeted and disregarded at the point . The negligence I’ve received is very disappointing. I’ve been kind and patient throughout the process. Because of this, I’m requesting a one-time credit or reimbursement for the towing cost. I’d really appreciate your help in resolving this fairly.
