Great unit until your AC goes out in the summer. My AC went out and they were in no rush to fix it. Jesus in the front office lied to me/ mislead me about the maintenance team coming to fix it. And the emergency maintenance number lied to me a half dozen times about someone coming. When I finally refused to get off the phone and pressed they told me it was not hot enough to send emergency maintenance… IN THE TEXAS SUMMER.

Pit bulls are not supposed to be allowed on this property, yet it appears exceptions are being made for employees. I saw the leasing agent with long dark hair bringing her pit bull onto the property. This is especially frustrating because tenants are told they cannot have certain dog breeds, yet employees do not appear to be held to the same standards. Policies should be enforced consistently for everyone. This situation raises concerns about fairness and safety, and I would appreciate it being addressed appropriately.

Won’t be renewing. It’s been a good downtown place for years but it’s going downhill. With the vacant units they must be offering special deals that bring in a lower caliber resident. As I write this our walls are litterally shaking because of loud music from one of the new tenants. Plus we keep getting notices about the weed smoking in the complex which is again a new problem that started with the new residents. Not worth staying with the high rent and low class neighbors ***gates are now broken. Assume the new residents drove into them ****tried to go to the pool the other day but it was invaded by “teens” that clearly don’t live here. The office was open so they had to see it but I guess it’s a part of the new culture. Weed, menthols, and loud music ***update. It’s 10:30pm on a Monday and the whole building is shaking from bass. **** response to the response: Oh honestly, what’s even the point of contacting you? It’s a total waste of my time since we know others have complained too. We’ve never had such rude, disrespectful neighbors before, it’s exhausting. You know exactly who’s causing the problems, same as you know who’s smoking like a chimney. But no, instead of dealing with them, we generic “no smoking” reminder sent to everyone. The troublemakers are clearly protected, while the rest of us just suffer. Ridiculous.

These buildings are old. The windows no longer properly close, allowing outside air and bugs in. During warmer weather, we’re constantly having to kill wasps that get in. Our electric bill is over $200 a month because our two ac units are constantly running. The first time it stormed, there was a literal water fall coming from the tops of our windows(see pictures). They did do a lot of work on the windows, but wasps still get in from time to time. When our upstairs neighbors walk, our ceiling rattles so loudly that the cieling fans visibly shake. The parking gates are often broken. And many of the pedestrian gates dont lock ever. Some positive: the maintenance people and leasing office are both very nice and helpful. Fixed our broken a/c the same day it went out. They did non-renew us, and provided no reason. I suspect it’s because they wanted to charge us $1000 fee to go month to month instead of the $400 fee that was in our lease. Also they randomly deleted our parking profile months before the end of our lease, so we had to call in to get it set up again. Thankfully, Gary at the leasing office got a new profile set up for us right away, but if we had not received an email notification, our cars would likely have been booted. Bottom line: It has been a hassle to live here. You can do way better at this price point. LOOK ELSEWHERE.

I would not recommend these apartments. I was a frequent guest while a family member lived here. I have intentionally waited to post this review out of a concern that management might retaliate by tacking on extra move-out fees; however, I feel it is important to share our experience now that they are settled elsewhere. **Management and Accessibility** The layout of the complex is very confusing for outsiders. Delivery drivers consistently struggled to find the unit for grocery deliveries or birthday gifts, and Uber or Lyft drivers rarely found the correct pickup points. This was compounded by an office staff with an exceptionally high turnover rate, which made consistent communication impossible. **Security Concerns** The "security" gates were frequently broken or left open, which was particularly worrying given the location. While I think the neighboring church’s food ministry is a wonderful and necessary service, the high volume of activity on West 7th was a major safety concern. It was distressing to know that my family member who is older, was living in an environment where people were frequently yelling or experiencing medical emergencies right outside her building. I am incredibly relieved my loved one has moved out. Between the lack of security and the unreliable management, I would not recommend these apartments to others.

Paden spent most of his workday with us trying to help us get our apartment lease process completed. He was patient and kind giving us the TLC we needed to get this done completely and correctly. John also stepped in whenever needed to help us. Simply put, we were treated with much concern and care; this made an otherwise arduous day into a fun and enjoyable experience. They both deserve commendations and appreciation for making our rental process easier. THANK YOU JOHN AND PADEN!

Just moved out and would definitely recommend Firestone. Management is friendly and helpful, the maintenance lady is super nice and quick. Only issue I ever had was the gates broke occasionally but that happens everywhere. Wasn't charged anything at move out.

Don’t live here, rather than fixing things they put bandaids. There was body hair in the bathtubs painted over and sealed. The sink smelled, and they took my deposit and later claimed I didn’t put a deposit. Even after showing all communications from them requesting a deposit, quoting a deposit, and bank statements showing a deposit. They doubled down and removed documentation from the portal to not show a deposit. Who ever gave us the lease had left out a deposit on an updated version of the lease agreement then went in and replaced a page to show the deposit as a fix. So when I brought my deposit up and was relying the document on their portal they went out of their way to delete the amended page to double down on no deposit being received against all information I gave them to rectify an administrative error.

I am convinced that some of these reviews are from the staff, but let me get started on my review. The leasing office is responsive, but they rarely have solutions to your problems on the first visit. I had a leak in my shower from an exposed pipe, and the maintenance team ruined the tub to fix the issue and left items in the bathroom. It took over 4 months for them to repair a shower that they said would be fixed before I moved in. And rats!!!! There are rats! I had an infestation. I was offered a new apartment of the same style and that was never followed up on. It took me purchasing no show traps to get rid of them and then I put repellent around the apartment to keep them out. And I was pregnant at the time. They had no interest in helping until I came up to the office in person two days after my baby was born. They are not honest about how they can help, so you get the run around a lot. I also had no AC for more than half of the summer. The maintenance team would come by and nothing would change.
December 2025
I was warned not to rent here from other residents and I should have listened. One of the worst mistakes of my life. To start off the apartments are old so there are constant things that need fixing . We had multiple leaks and the floor kept ripping apart from nothing. The windows aren’t sealed correctly so we got mold every week no matter how many bleach cleanings which they did not do any thing about when we brought it up. They asked to vacate the apartment after we paid that months rent and then charged us $7,000 to send to collections of false charges after keeping our security deposit. I really hope the people that work for Firestone and wieder get good sleep at night from all the evil they do. I warn everyone DO NOT RENT FROM FIRESTONE OR ANY WEIDNER property.

Teresa (maintenance department) from Firestone apartments has gone beyond and above for service and make sure everything in my apartment is working and up to date. The attention to detail and help and honestly how quick the response is to help makes me feel so better about living here. So much I resigned my lease. I love all the help and she’s is seriously the best!!! Great customer service.
October 2025
We've been without an oven for 5 months, and without working AC for our entire tenancy. Management told us we were "disingenuous" for complaining about this, and will likely respond to this in their typically gaslighting manner since you cannot respond to their response on here (i.e. something about how our 1550sqft home has two two-ton condensers, so a $700/m AC bill, and a house temperature of 78-82 degrees all summer is "normal"). It seems like they spend more time trying to convince the public of their facade, than actually fix issues. Would never recommend this complex to anyone- please take your hard-earned money elsewhere.
October 2025
Teresa with maintenance did a great job!
September 2025
Edit: It has now been two weeks as of tomorrow since my refunded check was reportedly sent in the mail to my home address. I am told they will send me another check if it has not been received by October 1st. I am beyond frustrated and flabbergasted by this. John is trying his best to keep me in the loop but it seems even his own property manager prefers to keep him looping in circles. Please take your business elsewhere. I loved touring this place and the units, but this complex’s management is very disheveled right now. I was approved for a lease the same day I applied Sept. 12th, and shortly after I was approved. I was then called around an hour later and heavily advised to put a deposit down to ensure my unit’s security. I put it down after the anxiety of losing the unit after an already hard breakup and move across the state. Due to unforeseen circumstances I was unable to move forward with signing the lease, and notified the property 2 hours after putting down the deposit. Well within the 24 hour timeframe they stated on their welcome letter that ensured I would qualify for a full deposit and admin fee refund of $550. That was Sept. 12th, and since then, I have been given the run around by nearly every staff member these past 5 business days. What truly pushed me to write this review was the 47 minute hold I was stuck on before I realized they may not have intended to ever pick back up. I truly loved my tour and I think the leasing staff are doing their best, but I feel very disregarded and lost in the dark in this situation.
September 2025
We toured Firestone Apartments recently and were incredibly impressed—not just with the beautiful property and amenities, but especially with Shannon and John, who made the entire experience exceptional. From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable, answering every question with patience and genuine enthusiasm. Shannon made the tour feel personalized and exciting, while John’s attention to detail and pride in the community truly stood out. Their professionalism, friendliness, and energy made a lasting impression and are a huge part of why we’re seriously considering making Firestone our next home. They’re absolute stars!
September 2025
I moved in July, to be honest I had some initial issues in the beginning, BUT they were corrected and since then property staff has been on it , they upped the night security now and any maintenance issues I’ve had are always resolved super quick. Shout out to Shannon and Teresa they are both amazing and timely at their job. Also Shout out to John in the leasing office who is very respectful and helpful with things. I love my apartment and the rent is a great price for the location and sq footage.

10/10 place :) Chris, Shannon, John, Theresa, and Nicole the maintenance team is always on top of things. The apartment life team, Reagan and Kayla are amazing and they provide great events with community building and free food

September 2025
Awesome complex extremely close to the heart of downtown ft worth. One of the few complexes that has a connected garage. Perfect space for working on both the bike and car.
September 2025
Awful management. We have not had a working oven or microwave in over four months, despite being told at the beginning of the issue that it would be solved within two weeks. There has been a dirt pile the size of a truck outside of our apartment unit for over two months which they told us a month ago would be gone by the end of the week. The AC does not work, don’t even bother unless you’d like to pay $600 a month for a frosty 80 degrees in your unit. Management does a fantastic job listening with never any follow through. It seems like they listen to make you feel heard, and then hope you forget about your issues. Maintenance problems go unchecked for weeks on end, which is clearly not the fault of the maintenance team as they are understaffed and underfunded. The gate to the property breaks about once every three weeks, so if you think you’re moving to a gated community, think again. If you call the office and press the button for “current and valued residents” they will never answer, but if you call the “new lease” line, they answer immediately. Overall, these apartment are not worth your money or your time. If you are choosing this place because you think the square footage is a deal for the price, reconsider. Extra space is not worth dealing with the poor management team and incredibly high electric bills.

As a first time renter and a student I was a little scared to make this transition but this move was stress free all thanks to Claudia for helping me find the perfect apartment and answering all my questions. Thank you Claudia!!!
August 2025
I walked in today looking for an apartment. I was greeted quickly by Claudia and she was so kind and informative. She answered all of my questions and showed me two apartments. She was very thorough and even told me the history of the location. Really interesting because I have always driven past this place but didn’t know it was originally a tire shop from way back. The apartments are cute and have a lot of character. I will definitely be applying soon

July 2025
Please do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or money on this place. We have had issues since the very first day we moved in, and it all comes down to apathetic, indifferent management. Maintenance issues are rife, between gates that are inoperable more often than not, a pile of sand/gravel in the parking lot that has been there for over 2 months now, dirty facilities, etc. To be fair, the maintenance team is attentive, but there doesn't seem to be enough help for a complex of this size and condition. We've been without a microwave and oven for a month now due to electrical failure, but unfortunately it is "not in the budget" to fix it. Most frustratingly has been our unit itself, which we pay thousands of dollars for. On its best days in the summer, we are lucky if we get down to 78 degrees (even hotter in the bedroom), so we typically spend the summer sleeping on the couch. Several vents in the house don't blow air, which we have been told is normal. Most recently, the AC unit outside makes a high-pitched squealing noise whenever it is on (in the summer, this is 24/7), which no one has attended to and keeps us up all night, despite multiple maintenance requests. We reported a robbery to the front desk at one point, to which they replied, "Well why was the garage open?" The list goes on and on, seriously, do not consider this place, unless you enjoy paying $600 per month for a hot, sticky, unbearable unit. The worst part is their lack of accountability- management will either not reply to this, or say something snarky, like, "Sorry you feel this way, we responded to all of your work orders and closed them." This is true, however just because they are closed does not mean they are fixed. Several times, work orders have been closed, without actually being resolved, so you then have to put them in again (and probably again). This is what happened, for example, with the squealing AC unit... I noticed the order was closed as I was listening to it make the noise we reported. If you want to call the front desk, I'd advise using the extension for new tenants, as they answer that one immediately, but will hardly ever answer or call back on the line for existing tenants. It has been beyond frustrating to pay this amount of money, only to be consistently given the runaround and not hear your concerns taken seriously. Don't waste your hard-earned money, there are so many better options in Fort Worth.

Hi I just moved in a few weeks ago from Boston. At first it was a slow application process which was a bit frustrating for me moving from out of state I needed to plan my drive and movers accordingly. Fortunately once I was able to communicate my concern things moved quickly and seamlessly (thank you John). I thought this would reflect my living situation however I’m happy to say everything has been very nice. Little maintenance issues such as my windows being hard to open or the carbon monoxide detector needing new batteries. I’m extremely pleased to say their response has been rapid. So rapid I submitted a request left to the store and when I came back it was already fixed. I’m very happy with my apartment. To the maintenance workers I’m sorry I forgot your names but you’re doing FANTASTIC!

Maintenance is goofy, they don’t know how to read apparently, hooked up washer lines backwards, don’t know how to read air filter arrows either smh 🤦🏿♂️ , will continue updating as things progress

I am writing to formally report a concerning experience I had with an employee named Baily at your leasing office. After being approved for an apartment, I proceeded to connect electricity and secure renters insurance as instructed. However, Baily later informed me—falsely—that there were no move-in specials available and abruptly canceled my application without just cause. I believe this action may have been motivated by personal bias, hostility, or discrimination. Given the abrupt and unfair treatment, I experienced, I am requesting to submit a formal discrimination complaint. Please provide me with the appropriate form or legal process to file this complaint through your office or corporate management. I would also appreciate a copy of any written reason for the cancellation of my approved application.

My fiancé and I have lived at Firestone Apartments for nearly two years, and unfortunately, our experience has been overwhelmingly negative due to persistent maintenance issues and poor management response. From day one, we encountered serious problems. When we first moved in, our refrigerator had a foul odor strong enough to attract gnats, making it unusable for weeks until management finally resolved it. Soon after, our dryer stopped working. Rather than fixing or replacing it promptly, we were told to use a dryer in a vacant unit nearby — a unit that was infested with bugs and had moldy food left out. Only after I refused to use such an unsanitary space did they finally replace our dryer. The worst issue by far has been the air conditioning. We have not had a working AC system for most of the past 12 months — including the last 6 months straight. Excuses ranged from parts being on backorder due to “winter,” to it simply not being a priority. When we raised concerns with upper management, we were told that “a lot of other people don't have working AC either” and that it’s not urgent during the winter months — even though temperatures were in the mid-70s around Christmas. Although our unit is listed as having central air and we pay full rent every month, we've had to rely on a small window unit provided by the office. This unit only fits in the dining room window and barely cools that space, making it impossible to comfortably sleep in our bedroom most nights. As a result, we’ve spent many nights sleeping on the couch, which has negatively affected our body. We have called once every 2 weeks in December, to once a week in February to once or twice a day in March and April to where we have given up and decided to not renew our lease. We move out in 2 weeks and can you guess what we still don’t have in this high 80 degree weather??? AC. Have they reimbursed us? No. Are we still having to pay FULL rent for the months we haven’t had AC. Yes. If you value comfortability, this is not the apartment for you. The gym is another major disappointment. Despite management’s claim that it is cleaned daily, this clearly isn’t the case. The same sweat marks have remained on the TV screens for over two years, and a broken medicine ball left sand on the rack that has yet to be cleaned up — a year later. Most concerning is the lack of sanitary wipes or cleaning supplies to wipe down gym equipment, which poses a hygiene risk. At one point, someone even left a roll of toilet paper in place of wipes as a last resort. We paid a bit more for a one bedroom expecting a luxury experience — after all, the building literally said “Luxury Apartments” on the side of the building. After a year later, “Luxury” was quietly removed, and now it just says “Apartments”. When we asked management why, they just shrugged and acted like they didn’t notice. No explanation. The downgrade in branding reflects the reality. While Firestone Apartments might appear appealing from the outside, the lack of basic maintenance, unreliable air conditioning, and unsanitary shared spaces make it incredibly difficult to recommend. We have been very patient and even understanding that things happen but this has gone too far. If you value responsive management, working appliances, and clean amenities, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Five-star experience at Firestone! My move-in was seamless thanks to the exceptional support of Claudia and Bailey. Their understanding and helpfulness were truly outstanding. The community boasts fantastic amenities, including a well-equipped two-story gym, and I'm eagerly anticipating the pool. The friendly and professional staff contribute significantly to the luxurious and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend Firestone!
April 2025
Claudia is who you want to talk to at Firestone when is comes to finding the unit that is right for you. We were out hunting on 4/18/25 and stopped in, not realizing it was by appt only. Luckily she had some free time and had no problem helping us with the unit we were interested in. She is extremely knowledgeable about Firestone, personable and has a great since of humor which made the tour fun and informative. Not only did she show us the unit we were interested in she took the time to show us two other units she thought we would like and we did. It was a TOUGHT decision but with her help she got us "all fixed up" and we are in the middle of the application process. I was having some technical issues submitting the application and had to wait until Monday when the leasing office was open. I spoke to John who was a HUGE help in getting the issue resolved. The customer service is above and beyond. We are very much looking forward to becoming a part of the Firestone community.

I went from a house to an apartment and it was quite a transition. The staff here at Firestone have been so helpful. Especially Teresa when it comes to any maintenance needs. She respects my time and the space. And she is very pet friendly also. I moved here for the location and I have no regrets.

I have been living at firestone since November of last year. The leasing team was exceptional in finding and securing a floor plan that worked for us. We have had minor issues due to no fault of fire stone (ex, a leaky faucet & a drier with excess lint build up), each maintenance request we enter is fulfilled sometimes under 24 hours but always in a timely manner. The dog park is well kept, and maintenance cleans up regularly behind tenants who forget to pick up their own dogs poops. We feel secure and safe here- as a mom to a special needs child that is usually rare. For complete transparency, the only complaint I could possibly have is the kitchen sink water pressure is poor. However, we have a dish washer. Firestone has been great for us. Highly recommend. The apartment life team fed us a free pizza last week! We love it here.

I had the pleasure of working with Shannon, the Service Manager, and I must say, his level of professionalism and expertise truly stands out. From the moment I reached out for assistance, Shannon was attentive, communicative, and proactive in resolving any issues I had. He made sure everything was handled efficiently and always followed up to ensure I was satisfied with the service. His dedication to customer satisfaction is unmatched, and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about providing the best experience. Highly recommend his service he’s a true asset to the team!”

It has been great moving here since last few months. The apartment and community amenities are great and the maintenance requests are handled promptly. Apartment life team Kayla and Reagan are also very friendly and helpful. Lexi walked over the leasing process and made sure the process was smooth and efficient. Claudia has also answered my queries and questions promptly and has been helpful to address any concerns I have moving in my apartment. The maintenance crew is also friendly and promptly addresses any concerns .

Recently moved from Chicago and moved into Firestone. Glad I made the choice! Nice size and the gym is great. People seem nice and the maintenance guys are on it. Loving Texas so far!! :)
October 2024
Absolutely horrible. In the process of hiring a lawyer. The day I moved in 4 months ago, I was missing cabinets in the kitchen. I still do not have these, just one lie after another. Shower is either extremely hot or cold. No adjusting. My roof leaks and is turning soggy and moldy, may even collapse. Best part is I’m still paying full rent. I have had about 6 different people come look at the apartment and get a different answer every time. DO NOT MOVE HERE. LIVE UNDER A BRIDGE, ITS SAFER. As of October 25th the roof is still not fixed in my living room.

Just when you think it can’t get any worse, it gets worse. Don’t believe any good reviews. They are either bogus or coerced by management to get $$ off of your lease renewal. Then they add more fees after you sign. The property is old and has not been maintained properly. Most units have had water damage and many residents complain of mold and rodents. The pool was unusable for most of the summer. But open to transients and countless other non residents! They trashed the pool, broke into the clubhouse and trashed it too. It took over a week for them to clean up the beer cans and broken glass after one weekend party in June of unattended teenagers. Gates are often malfunctioning and left open. Complaints are seldom addressed. Horrible place to live.
September 2024
I have lived here since July and have really enjoyed it. Claudia walked us through all of our options and helped us pick a unit that fit our needs best. We have had maintenance come in less than 24 hours of both of our requests which is really helpful. The gated area and security measures make me feel very safe and comfortable in the downtown area. Everything was super clean and ready for our move in day!

Im currently hunting for an apartment in the Fort Worth area and decided to stop by the Firestones, They were absolutely stunning, exactly what I was in search for! I also felt so welcomed and well assisted by Lexi Reyes she was so polite and professional Id definitely recommend this place to anyone in search of a cozy home in such a great location!

Maintenance team is second to none. Chris & Theresa responded to my work order less than 15 minutes after I placed it. Great service and great folks.

Do not look here! I had a horrible experience with Firestone West 7th. Due to a job change, I am in the processing of relocating due from Houston to Fort Worth. In late July, I scheduled an appointment online with Firestone West 7th providing the date I was looking to move and that I needed a two-bedroom apartment. A few days later while in Fort Worth to visit the complex in person I was not welcomed by either of the two leasing associates working in the office. While one was working with a resident the other was available and neither acknowledged that I had walked in not even to say, “Welcome, we’ll be right with you.” Finally, after almost ten minutes of standing there the associate not working with anyone asked what she could do for me. I sat at her desk, and I told her that I had an appointment to view a two bedroom. She told me that they did not have any two bedrooms available for my move-in timeline. This of course left me frustrated given that I had provided that information prior to making the trip to Fort Worth. I asked if there was a model that I could view just to see finishes and maybe I could move my move date. She told me, “no, our model is being cleaned today so it’s not viewable.” Why take a showing appointment at a time when you have nothing to show? Sitting there frustrated I thought maybe she would at least offer to give me a tour of the complex amenities, but she did not. I also asked about preferred employer specials that most complexes offer for teachers and first responders. She said they don't do that because doing so would be a violation of fair housing. She was obviously ill-informed or ignorant about fair housing. I left completely frustrated with a wasted trip.

Can’t wait to move out of this place . It is not worth the price whatsoever. The front office is completely rude and do not do anything all day. They are terrible at their jobs and have no people skills. We were warned by another tenant during the tour to not moved in and we should have listened.

EDIT: The leasing staff doesn’t monitor their email inbox well. I have tried to be understanding but they continue to miss the mark. Original Review: Megan & Cyrian in the leasing office are real sweethearts that seem committed to their work. I’m appreciative of the maintenance team’s efforts as well, seems they were dealt a poor hand by the previous ownership but are trying their best! Happy Birthday & thanks for all the help so far (:

Great experience at Firestone. Love the 1 bedroom apartment layout and the gym. The Apartment Life Coordinators do a great job hosting events to help make it a community. I workout late at night and typically see security making rounds to keep the parking lot safe.

Currently having issues from old management from 2 years ago. Can’t say anything about new management or apartments.

Chris and Theresa helped with some bathroom maintenance after move-in, very helpful duo. Loving the property so far.

Terrible experience. I was told that there was an apartment available for the move in date I needed to move from out of state. I applied to the apartment, was never notified that I was accepted… I was calling everyday to get answers. One day I called and finally I was told that my application was approved, BUT they already gave the apartment away. Why would you let me spend money and apply if you were going to give it away? They offered me another apartment but the day was 10 days earlier and they refused to make any accommodations for me to move in a few days later (the date that I was told was available), so they gave that apartment away to someone else. Throughout the entire process, no one reached out to me with any options or answers. I was only informed about anything when I called. Totally unprofessional and a waste of money. But from the reviews being all horrible, even on TikTok, I realize it was a blessing in disguise and divine intervention.

The absolute worst place I’ve ever lived. Catfish complex. The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s much worse in person. When we moved into our “move in ready” apartment, we found a leak in the kitchen sink and the AC wouldn’t cool down past about 75. After two or three work orders and numerous calls, we finally got it fixed and paid a crazy high electric bill after the better part of a month. The first time it rained while we were here, our bedroom flooded with water and the walls became very water damaged. We were given a shop fan to dry out the carpet and then they considered it closed. Never mind the fact that the walls have brown damage on them and we can see where it’s obviously beeen painted over before. Overall, the rent and fees are not even worth the price. They do a very good job at trying to sell the place to you and unfortunately we fell victim to it. They love to see who compliments them and rarely reply to their not so great reviews which seem to make up the most recent. If you love half done jobs and « the landlord special »paint jobs then this may be the place for you👍🏼

The staff that coordinate the events are awesome. They go the extra mile to put on great events and bring the community together. It’s one of the biggest perks of living at Firestone.

Hello! My husband and I have lived here for over a year and with any apartment there are going to be good and bad experiences. We love the gym, love the layout of our apartment, and outside of normal city noise our building is pretty quiet. My biggest complaint would be the constant flow of people who are not residents consistently using the amenities we pay $180 a month for. Summertime is the worst time as people are either breaking the gates to get in and use the pool or wait in groups until someone exits to enter. Hell I just watched a non resident use her car to let 3 cars in through the exit gate. I can’t tell you how many times someone parks in my $85 a month reserved covered spot who, you guessed it, is not a resident. The gates working is also a hit or miss and with the amount of homeless people in the area is a huge safety concern. Again, we have loved living here but with the amount we pay in rent, certain things are expected to be controlled and safety secured.

Okay so like it’s a nice layout and location is pretty okay. I’m about to get into it because this is so crazy. So first let’s talk about the actual apartment. Nothing is sealed properly, when I got here my doors didn’t shut, my screens are literally torn or aren’t present. These are things I were told that would be fixed. They were not. The apartment smells like weed at random hours of the day. Walking up here all I can smell is urine which is also not fire. It’s actually gross and makes me wanna vom. My a/c like goes in and out. Idk why yall partner with spectrum by the way they are the literal worst. (That one’s not your fault spectrum just sucks) Everything is like built uneven like cabinets and stuff? The cabinets are also like cheap, like you can tell it’s just like vinyl or something bc if you’re not careful they’ll just peel off. My packages and trash can have been stolen multiple times. Then I called and they said they’d give me a new one but didn’t. But shout out to the grounds keeper because she got me a new one like a couple weeks ago or so. Furthermore, let’s get into the gate situation. It would be one thing if downtown was a safe area but it’s not, there’s homeless everywhere. I was pulling in the other day and some guy straight up had his pp out. There was another one just sitting in here looked like he was having a blast into outer space. I pay so much for rent, but you can’t offer me working doors, or security, a correctly sealed bathroom, window screens that aren’t torn. I’m not an expert but I’m pretty sure before you move into an apartment it’s supposed to have the working stuff you’re literally paying for lol. Then let’s talk about that guy that lives here that has 20+ complaints that continues to approach women. He approached me the other night at 130 am. I get off work late. I got so scared I left in my car and didn’t come back until 4 am. I’ve been told there’s action being taken against him now. Explain to me why 20+ complaints had to happen for this man to have any action taken against him? There’s drive bys. Literal shootings happening around us. And you guys offer no safety but a patrol car that I’m not even convinced is an actual officer. It’s just like…..why am I paying so much for things that don’t work, and no security. Oh also. Some of the gates have padlocks on them cuz they’re broken. One of them straight up just stays unlocked. OH and this. Your pool, dude THE POOL, I swam in it one time, and the gave me an entire ulcer and I ended up losing partial vision in my eye. I missed a month of work. So shoutout to your cleaning expertise. I literally just give up. The sad part is I really like the apartments like so much, but i genuinely can’t understand like why it’s so expensive when like nothing works, and like there’s no security. I don’t even mean to be a complete Karen but really like…please be better. Best regards, Jess

I just moved in from Phoenix. The service from Firestone is better than anywhere I’ve rented, and the cost is more than reasonable. The apartment is clean and well appointed, secure and located in a nice spot on west 7th. Very dog friendly with a bunch of amenities. I highly recommend this apartment complex.
