We moved in last March (2025), so we've been here about 9 months. Not a single complaint. The amenities are crazy - the staff (Esme, Jessica, maintenance and security) ensure every single one of our needs is met 100% of the time. Moved to Houston from Minnesota last March, so this was a really big leap for us and by far our favorite thing about the city is our apartment at Post oak woodWay. It's just beautiful, peaceful, safe and endlessly comfortable. To put it simply: we love basically everything about it... Common grounds are gorgeous, including the main office and gym. Beautiful view of uptown from the parking garage (and certain south/bayou facing apartments). Extremely reasonable rent here, you get so much for your money including the perfect location which is a lot safer than neighboring areas in regards to flooding. Racked our brains to try to think of anything that wasn't flawless or that they didn't already think of, and only thing we thought of was backup generators - would be a cool addition, but we're aware those cost hundreds of thousands of dollars 😀 10 out of 10. Absolutely amazing apartments.

While we lived there it was just ok not by any means luxury apartments that they claim to be. This was back in 2023. It is noisy from 610 but that is to be expected. The pool was closed for a period of time because they did not maintain it and was shut down by the health department. The school next to the complex creates horrible traffic. I guess I can say the 1 star is for the security staff they are very friendly and they get 5 stars from me. Although there was a murder here right before we moved out. The real problem is Greystar is a bunch of crooks. We were planning on resigning our lease but they wanted to raise the rent by $400 a month for a 1 bedroom. I tried to negotiate down but they would not budge. We ended up having to move due to that. When we moved we got a bill in the mail from them that we needed to pay them for damages. We thought that was absurd so I called the office and they refused to talk to me and sent it to Greystar collections. They in turn refused to work with me and sent the balance to collections as quick as they possibly could. This is the only place that we have ever lived that has ever charged us and we have lived in numerous apartment complexes. Moral of the story is, that this place looks nice on the outside but they will nickel and dime you. They do not want to assume the cost of doing business and they want to put all the financial burdens on the renter. They also only change the carpet every 5 years, and for the record it wasn't even clean when we moved in. Which is disgusting.

My experience here has been very positive! It is an older community, so there are minor issues due to age. The biggest ones I have are the age and size of the AC unit, which is undersized for this 1446 s.f. so it runs constantly at 78-80 degrees. The other problem is the appliances. I've had issues with the washer and haven't used it since the first 2 weeks I was here. The coil stove is older and burns everything unless you constantly turn the heat up and down. The fridge tends to freeze items on the top shelf, while produce on the bottom and in the drawers have moisture from the higher temperature and wilt or mold. Management is responsive, but maintenance's ability to diagnose is doubtful. My son is an appliance repair tech with over 15 years of experience. Over a phone call, he immediately diagnosed the two issues with the washer, which weren't even identified. Overall, it is a very nice apartment for the age and the management is great!

Great staff and very attentive towards customer concern. Jessica Cruz is the new property manager and has done a fantastic job at providing upright service to tenants and future residents. Amenities and improvements are far much better now than in the past. Please consider having her show you around if you had an interest in this place.

I strongly advise against living in this apartment complex. During several years of living here under the previous management, there were no issues: maintenance was always performed promptly and professionally, which was the reason we decided to renew our lease. Since the management changed, the situation has significantly worsened. The management completely ignores residents’ requests and fails to resolve problems: 1. The air conditioner in our apartment has been broken for about six months, and no repairs have been carried out. 2. Common areas are in poor condition: the grill is broken, dirty, and rusty; the pool is constantly dirty; the air conditioner in the fitness center does not work; and the gates are frequently malfunctioning and left open. 3. Apartments have started experiencing pest infestations, including outdoor cockroaches and gnats. 4. Trash collection is often delayed or not done at all. All written and in-person complaints from residents are ignored. Additionally, rent is increased immediately after the first lease term ends. Attempts to terminate the lease are met with numerous conditions, effectively preventing residents from moving out without financial penalties. I consider the actions of this management company to be dishonest and a violation of residents’ rights. I strongly recommend avoiding signing a lease with this complex.
