I moved in three weeks to a month ago and I don’t usually leave apartment reviews, but I love it so far. The area is great, the property management has been so kind. It’s all around a cute vibe and homey. Maintenance team has been super nice as well. Great move in experience.

We experienced multiple flooding incidents while living at this apartment complex and repeatedly submitted maintenance requests because of the ongoing issue. Although maintenance came out several times, the problem was never properly fixed and continued causing damage to our apartment and belongings. What made the experience even worse was management’s complete lack of accountability and empathy afterward. After dealing with repeated flooding damage, we moved ruined furniture near the dumpster and were charged a $250 fee on top of everything else. When we tried speaking with management, specifically Amy Kirby, there was absolutely no effort made to help resolve the situation or acknowledge the damage and inconvenience we had already dealt with because of their property issues. It is extremely frustrating to pay rent somewhere that cannot properly address serious maintenance problems and then still be charged extra fees after your belongings are damaged because of those same unresolved issues. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional, dismissive, and incredibly disappointing. I would not recommend living here based on our experience. Response- Your response is inaccurate and dismissive of what we experienced as tenants. There were multiple leaks during our time living there, including one within the last year before we moved out. Maintenance was contacted several times regarding ongoing water issues. Saying there were no additional concerns reported afterward is simply false. We had a phone call with management looking for help and were met with attitude and no real assistance or accountability. The damaged furniture was not abandoned inside the apartment. It was moved next to the dumpster area where residents regularly leave larger items during move out. Charging us while taking no accountability for the repeated flooding and damage caused to our belongings was extremely disappointing. This experience was frustrating from start to finish, and the lack of professionalism and empathy from management only made it worse.

Lived here for a year. Liked it a lot, would consider living at the Gael again! Cons: - We submitted like 20 work orders on move in, about 15 of which were addressed, wish they put more effort into the last 5 (albeit smaller) ones. - Building is older so there wasn't some things I'd expect in Texas, like a cieling fan in the living room. - The gym equipment is totally mislabeled for the weights, and generally some investment into the gym would be really nice. - The leaf blower guys are loud and feel incessant during the day, so if you work from home alot and are sensitive to noise you won't like this place. Pros: - Management is EXCELLENT in my view, they really care and work with the residents. - Rent was cheap, and I felt for the location I got a lot out of my money. I had a lot of friends who were jealous of how much my rent was, especially since I split a 2/2 with a roomate. - They are updating a lot of the units internally. New platinum and diamond level trims. - Resident events were about once a month - The management actively works to get tenants who cause issues (crime, smoking pot, etc.) out of the community. - Maintenance guy (Tony) is really friendly and responds to requests quickly. I loved my year at the Gael, and when our current lease ends, we will consider going back. I wish management the best, because really, they did an excellent job.

The management and office staff have been incredibly helpful with my living experience here at the Gael. Adriana and Amy are very professional; kind; compassionate and often go out of their way to be kind to the residents. If you want to reside in apartment complex with great staff and maintenance, this is the place to rent. I think that the people who manage and maintain an apartment complex are the most important feature of apartment living. Thank you again Gael Apartments and Willowbridge for providing diligent management and staff who really care about the residents in the Gael Apartment community.

I like living here. It's a quiet place. And what I like most is that there's plenty of parking.
