Yorktown Apartments

Living here was an awesome experience. The very first thing I loved about this property is that it has many beautiful amenities, including two swimming pools, a tennis court, a large natural garden area with big trees, as well as volleyball and a pool gazebo. The apartments are well organized, with closet laundry rooms, trash rooms, free parking, and clean premises. For families with kids, this is a perfect place to stay. This place is close to shopping malls, restaurants, and the uptown area. I definitely recommend living here.

This is a good place to live, in summer my daughters can swim all day long in the swimming pools, we also play in the tennis court, and Patricia helped us a lot with everything to live here. The Gelleria is around the corner, so you have plenty of places to visit and enjoy.

I love this apartment complex. I've been living here for two years and I have to leave because of my job. But I would love to stay; it's very quiet and the neighbors are respectful. The amenities are good, the management staff is friendly, and Ms. Patricia always helps you solve any problem. Thank you. ^^

Zero stars!!I have not had the best experience with these apartments. It was a hassle getting into them in the first place. They want you to have a perfect profile yet there’s always an issue on their behalf for example I have a 3 bedroom my children come during the holidays and breaks. I am barely home as I am a travel nurse. However the water bill is spilt based on the square footage of your apartment and I believe occupants. There are people that have a 1 or 2 bedroom with 4-6 people living there. Us with the bigger apartments foot the bill for their water usage. There have been times when I wasn’t home for a month and my water bill was higher than normal. Not to mention the mold that was growing in my apartment that made me sick. They did fix. The gym equipment is outdated and most of the equipment has out of order on it. I have seen some roaches but I was told it’s normal for Houston not sure. If you work third shift be prepared to be awaken by loud hammer jacking. There are kids who scream all day during summer. Also If you have more than one late payment or NSF you will be blocked from using the portal to pay your rent. You will have to go to money gram or western union and pay cash. This is an inconvenience. It’s the end of the year and everyone is having a tuff time. I have made all rent payments on time with the exception of the first payment due to the routing number being incorrect and this past month my rent car note and light bill came out at the same time. There are times when I work in a remote area and there is money gram or western available the portal is the best way to pay. No where in my lease does it say the portal will be blocked permanently. I would have never rented here. My rent is 2232-2274 monthly. The manager was rude and insensitive when I tried to explain my situation is the phone. I don’t remember her name. Giselle is very sweet and has been nice. I would not rent with this complex.

WARNING: Management will not inform residents of crimes that happen in complex. If you subscribe to crime reports youll find out that are a lot of them here. For a while there was a man walking around and peering into cars in the Building 12 garage around 4 in the morning. There is NO security in this complex. None. Cars come in and out of the wrong gates so random.people come into thw complex. Don't expect management to care about your safety. People in Buiding 12 leave their stuff in the halls like it's their storage closet. Toys, bikes, storage totes, shopping carts. The building looks like a big dump sometimes. And that boy that screams outside like he's being murdered every day after school and during the weekends. The same kid that plays doorbell ditch frequently. Yes I have him on camera doing so. Also, management is vindictive here. Once you're on their bad side., you'll always be on their bad side. Brandy in particular will favor certain residents who shes friendly with.
