Every single one of there employees is somewhere between incompetent and actively malicious. The leasing office will never even attempt to resolve your issue unless you go there three times. Also, any maintance will take multiple weeks if not multiple months to resolve. They also tried multiple times to lie to get more money out of me. I have left over 3 months and they still haven't resolved my final payment despite visiting them or calling over 6 times.

My husband and I are extremely disappointed with the service we received at Shoreline Apartments. We drove 45 minutes to attend a scheduled appointment to view a two-bedroom apartment, only to be told upon arrival that the staff member was on lunch and we would need to wait an hour and a half for her to return. We were also informed that the other person who usually conducts tours was out sick, and there was no one else available to assist us. It is very frustrating to have an online booking system in place if the staff responsible for tours are not aware of scheduled appointments. We arranged our day around this viewing, and the lack of communication and professionalism was disappointing. This was actually our first choice of apartments because of its location right on the lake and its proximity to all the restaurants nearby. Unfortunately, after this experience, we would prefer to rent from a more reliable and organized rental company.

I've been living at Shoreline (formerly AMLI) for over a year now and recently transferred to a different unit within the community. Throughout the entire process, the leasing office was incredibly helpful and responsive. I was in and out of the office quite a bit, and there was always someone available to assist me. I primarily worked with Sara, who has been consistently friendly, knowledgeable, and quick to answer any questions I had. Since the change in management, I've noticed a lot of great improvements around the property such as updated remodels, added office spaces, fun monthly resident events, and a much cleaner, well-maintained environment overall. It’s clear they’re making a real effort to update the apartment building.

Shoreline tried to overcharge me by $8,502 on a 13 month lease renewal. I lived at Shoreline (originally AMLI Las Colinas until Dec 17 2024) for 5 ½ years, always paying my rent early and always on 13 month leases. I’ve been an excellent tenant with an 800+ credit rating. I was considering moving to a different complex closer to work and I spoke with Sara about lowering my rent on a renewal since rents in the area are going down. Sara told me that my rent of $2445 was consistent with the complex’s other units So I submitted my 60+ day written notice on May 27. The day after I submitted my written notice, May 28, the rent on my exact unit was listed on the Shoreline website for $2049 which is $396 less per month than I was paying. On June 1 it was lowered to $1952 which is $493 less. On June 4 an identical unit was listed for $1837, which is $608 less. On top of that, Micaela told me that my unit would be remodeled for the new tenant. Shoreline then sent me a renewal notice for $2491 on a 13 month lease, which is $46/month more than I was paying, after they had promised that my rent wouldn’t go up. Bottom-line they attempted to overcharge me by $654/month on a 13 month lease, which totals $8,502 difference for an identical unit that is also totally remodeled. I have all written documentation. Never did they come back to me to ask me to reconsider my move. I needed 10 extra days beyond the end of my lease until I could move into my new place, so my month-to-month rent to be prorated was doubled to $4793 after Sara had estimated just a $300 increase. Micaela explained that rents are set by their parent office, but she’d look into it, and I never heard back from her. All this for an excellent 5 ½ year tenant. If I had been happy with Shoreline management otherwise, I would have gone to an attorney. However, with the garage security gates disabled for 2 solid months, overflowing dumpsters, huge packages underfoot not being picked up for literally months, and the electronic rent payment system still not working since mid-December, it was time for me to go. Those photos are also attached.

I love this AMLI apartment location. It’s has plenty of space and right on Lake Carolyn Lake with stunning views of the city. The amenities are second to none. Everything was clean and organized. They have Amazon Lockers, ATM and Laundry service all on site. The 2B 2B was more than we expected plus it had great views of the lake. The price was more than reasonable and there was plenty of parking. The only drawback is that it’s a little older but you can’t go wrong living here.
