Windbury Apartments

DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHOTOS THEY ARE DECEIVING. Has to be the worst place to live i wouldn't even wish my in-laws to live here. Office staff is rude and condescending. Anthony is by far the worst. People walk their dogs and dont pick up after them and anthony had accused us of not picking up after our dogs. Saying things like he knows its us and he has proof while never providing it or an apology. They have an incentive board in the office asking for positive reviews and you will get a small tv or something off your rent or some other bogus reward and thats why they have any positive reviews at all i would believe. They never take accountability for things going wrong in the apartment and maintenance will just tell you its cause of something you're doing. Constant plumbing issues just about every month. Plumbing was so bad the kitchen would flood and the water would flow into the living room and hallway. One of the sinks in the hall bathroom would fill with water coming up from the drain and would smell so bad. We had to constantly get cups to scoop out the sewer water in the sink and pour it into the toilet so that the sink wouldn't over flow. Major roach problem. Crime is high in the neighborhood as well. Had numerous packages stolen, catalytic converter stolen right in the afternoon. Gunshots all hours of the night. Neighbors are weird and inconsiderate. Every single person will stare at you continuously as you drive by, kids will knock and run away, they also send out regular notices about kids breaking windows. Downstairs patios are odd with just a wood panel with the sides completely open leaving your patio exposed. Had a bicycle stolen thinking it would be alright there and kids constantly running through there destroying plants. We asked if we could put garden gates to block the sides and the office staff member at the time said yes. Then after that staff member left within a couple months i had gotten a lease violation warning about them. Despite another unit having gawdy ugly wood pallets closing off their patio. Close to the end of the lease a new family moved into the unit across from mine and they were so rude. They had large gatherings constantly right outside the units in the common area and would all stare at you as you left or went inside. Its was very uncomfortable especially for guests. Was stuck at these apartments for about 4 years and during that time we needed to get the ac unit replaced. The one that was there when we moved in was already old and super dirty. Anytime we called about the ac they would just come and try and scrub it clean until they called an actual ac company. When the ac guy took out the old unit it was FULL of mold and the guy told us the office staff had told him not to let us see or know about that but he still did anyways. We had to be breathing in that mold for years before they replaced it! Dumpsters are always over flowing and even when they aren't full people throw their garbage on the ground in front of the dumpsters. These apartments are trash trash trash. If i could give 0 stars i would cause even 1 star is too good for this place. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Leasing the apartment was super easy, and the staff were really helpful the whole time. They made everything simple and stress free. The community is also really nice, quiet, clean, and just a good place to live.
